Nestled in the high Andes of Peru, there is a place of hope

“The people who walked in darkness have seen a great light; those who lived in a land of darkness, on them light has dawned.” Isaiah 9:2

Kusi

‘Kusi’ in the native Quechua language expresses the sentiment of three different English words: happiness, joy, contentment. It is the perfect name for our little village of hope on the slopes of majestic Mount Huarascán (22,000+ ft). Our mission is to spread the Good News of the Jesus Christ to the impoverished and the needy in this spiritually dark valley- both in word (through evangelism and Gospel programs) and in deed (by giving a cup of cold water in Jesus’ name).
